രാമുവും രാജുവും പുതുതായി പരിചയപ്പെട്ട കുട്ടിയാണ് രാധ. ഒരു ദിവസം അവർ രണ്ടു പേരും രാധയോടു അവളുടെ birthday ചോദിച്ചു. ഒന്ന് ആലോചിച്ച ശേഷം രാധ പറഞ്ഞു, ഞാൻ പറയാൻ പോകുന്നില്ല, പക്ഷേ ഒരു ക്ലു തരാം. അതിനു ശേഷം രാധ 10 ഡേറ്റുകൾ എഴുതിയ ഒരു ലിസ്റ്റ് അവരുടെ കയ്യിൽ കൊടുത്തു പറഞ്ഞു, "എന്റെ birthday ഇതിൽ ഒരു ഡേറ്റ് ആണ്".

അതിനു ശേഷം അവൾ രാമുവിന്റെ ചെവിയിൽ തൻറെ birthday യുടെ മാസം മാത്രം പറഞ്ഞു കൊടുത്തു. അത് പോലെ രാജുവിന്റെ ചെവിയിൽ birthday യുടെ ദിവസം മാത്രം പറഞ്ഞു കൊടുത്തു. എന്നിട്ട് രാമുവിനോട് ചോദിച്ചു "പിടി കിട്ടിയോ?"
രാമു : "എനിക്കറിയില്ല, പക്ഷെ രാജുവിനും അറിയില്ല എന്ന് എനിക്ക് ഉറപ്പുണ്ട്"
രാജു: "രാമു ഇത് പറയുന്നത് വരെ എനിക്ക് അറിയില്ലായിരുന്നു, പക്ഷെ ഇപ്പോൾ എനിക്ക് അറിയാം"
രാമു: "ഇപ്പോൾ എനിക്കും പിടി കിട്ടി"
ചോദ്യം: രാധയുടെ birthday മുകളിൽ കൊടുത്ത ഏതു ഡേറ്റ് ആണ്?

◆ Going with conditions,
◆ Raju knows the birth date, and ramu the birth month.
◆ at the beginning, no one knew the birthday
◆Ramu said raju won't be knowing the answer by date ,he meant those won't be 18,19.
Exclude june 18, and may 19 as they are not repeating in any of options. Otherwise he could easily guessed her birthday.
◆Ramu knows it's august ,as radha said, august with four dates 14, 15 and 17 which are repeating in June, may and july. That's why he said raju won't know the answer
◆This made Raju know that month is august .
◆as he knows the date 17 as she said, this can't be june 17 , and we excluded june 18 before.if it was june ramu would have said.
