Brain drain may not always prove to be a bane for a country especially a country like India.As we all know that Indians are very talented,so thinks the West and that’s one reason why most of the MNCs shift quality students from our country to their own.But this kind of drain not only helps other countries but our’s as well.For e.g,the Indian diaspora residing all across the globe are a great source of foreign reserves for our country.The OCIs and NRIs send their incomes to their families residing in India and hence adding to the RBI’s forex reserve.They also invest through FIIs and FPIs bringing foreign investment to the country.And most importantly,there can be a huge scope for ‘Brain Gain’ only if there is any ‘Brain Drain’.The Brain once drained later gained may bring better global ideas and technologies along with them.
