Yes.  Ownership of land generally includes all the land below the delineated surface plot, all the way down to the center of the earth, and to the sky above to infinity. In theory, the cubic volume of space would decrease gradually as you go down towards the core of the earth and increase as you move up towards outer space.

But land ownership, or the ability to actually use the "ground below and sky above," is by no means unrestricted and private ownership rights at certain depths and heights are generally not recognized as valid.  

Ownership of land is commonly subject to existing mineral, easement, utility and air-use rights of others (including governments, utility, mining and aviation companies with easements or other rights of use) and an owner's use of these elements are restricted accordingly, including local zoning and building laws that limit an owner's ability to use the ground below and the sky above the land he owns.

Yes we can say that because we are calculating that on their lands prospective..


For an example, Grab a ball (football) select a point or touch it any where you like it..

And then tell me is that centre of that ball or not..
