It will never reach the top because the water riseses but the boat is made to float on top of it so as the water level rises the boat rises and so does the ladder. NO MATHS NEEDED :)

Hey!

1 answer i think it can be

Never. The ladder is fixed in position over the side of the vessel. The tideal movement will raise and lower the boat vs the bottom of the water, but the boat will float in the same relative position regarding the surface of the water.

And another one can be i think this

Unless the the boat is stuck under a bridge, the relationship between the ladder and water will be unchanged.
