Principle= Rs.12,600

Rate of interest per annum =9%

Amount= Rs.15,624

$\large{\underline{\underline{To find:}}}}$

Time

Therefore,

Simple Interest = Amount - Principle

=15624-12600

=3024

So,

$time = \frac{simple \: interest \times 100}{rate \: of \: interest \times principle}$

$= \frac{3024 \times 100}{9 \times 12600}$

$= \frac{24}{9}$

$= \frac{8}{3}$

$= 2 \times \frac{2}{3} hours$
