\large{\underline{\underline{Given:}}}}

Principle= Rs.12,600

Rate of interest per annum =9%

Amount= Rs.15,624

\large{\underline{\underline{To find:}}}}

Time

Therefore,

Simple Interest = Amount - Principle

=15624-12600

=3024

So,

time =  \frac{simple \: interest \times 100}{rate \: of \: interest \times principle}

 =  \frac{3024 \times 100}{9 \times 12600}

 =  \frac{24}{9}

 =  \frac{8}{3}

 = 2 \times \frac{2}{3} hours
