there's,, the lack of things....being one dimensionall,, and probably,,, thy ans to aapka question is SPRING....

being,,, elongated along an a lone axis,, neither posees widht..nor thickness(but actual reality,, is different from riddles,,as we use them in case of many theories....)..

ans it is also being one of the major component of finding spring constant...
