Answer:

Area of right △=21×base×altitude

Altitude =(Hypotenuse)2−(Base)2

              =(10)2−(6)2=100−36=64=8cm

∴  Area of right △=21×6×8=24cm2

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

base of the right angle triangle = 6cm

hypontuse = 10cm

by Pythagoras thereom :

h²=b²+ p² (h= height, b perpendicular) = base and p =

>> 10² = 6² +p²

2 >> 100 = 36 + p²

>> 100 - 36 = p² 2

>> 64 = p²

>>p = √64

>> p = 8cm

therefore, height of the right angle triangle is 8cm

hence, area of the triangle = 1/2 × b × h

= 1/2 × 6 × 8

= 3 × 8

= 24cm²

hope this helps..!!
