EXPLANATION-:

We know that-:

So in the first case -:

P=f/a

and in the second case (force is doubled and force is reduced by 2 times)-:

P'=2f/a/2

P'=f/a

Since in the first case the pressure was f/a and in the second the pressure is also same,Therefore there is not effect on the pressure .
