Answer :-

Let us assume that, Time taken by Bran , John and Bob is in ratio = 6 : 3 : 2 . { As bran takes twice the time than john and thrice than bob . }

So,

Efficiency ratio of Bran : John : bob = 1/6 : 1/3 : 1/2 = 1 : 2 : 3 .

Now,

Let us assume that, bran did x unit of work per day, john do 2x unit of work per day and bob do 3x unit of work per day.

Than,

→ All three of them did = x + 2x + 3x = 6x unit of work per day.

since it is given that, all three completes the work in one day.

Therefore,

→ Total work = 6x units.

Hence,

→ Time taken by bran to complete the work alone = 6x/x = 6 days. (Ans.)
