I.e. in every 20 kg CHUNK of brass there are 13 kg of Copper and 7 kg of zinc. Now how many of chunks do you have. Well, you have 100 kg of brass and each chunk is 20 kg, so by simple division you must have 5 chunks. How much zinc do you have ?

5 chunks × 7 kg zinc per chunk = 35 kg Zinc.
