Brass react with dilute hydrochloric acid

Brass is alloy of Copper(Cu) and Zinc(Zn)
But in this case Copper will not react with HCl, and simply Zn will react with HCl.
Zn+2HCl---------------> ZnCl2+H2.
Brass(only Zinc) react with dilute hydrochloric acid to give Zinc chloride and Hydrogen gas.
