It is a truth that sympathy is greater than gold because the money or the financial help that you had taken from anybody you can return that and also if money is lost nothing is lost you can on it back but once a person has given you sympathy it is greater than the story we also see that the poet was in a problem and a person helped him with money and that money he returns him back but the person who sympathized with him to give him bread who gave him love and affection that affection and care he was never able to pay back because these things cannot be measured and are much above the level of materialism
