The news reached sharp claws. The bread was quite awful. It had a very basic flavour. It lacked both a covering of flesh and a covering of soul. The bread is taken away in a single motion. My hands are shredded. My cheeks are disfigured with only one swipe. Nothing except talk of bread is on my lips. The night is a pack of vultures. I dared to eat the bread of dreams last night.
