ATQ,

We know that ,

Area of rectangle = Length × Breadth

So , area of rectangular room

= Length of room × Breadth of room

= ( x ) ( 2x / 3 )

= 2 x² / 3

ATQ,

Area of rectangular room = 2400 square unit

=> 2x² / 3 = 2400

=> 2x² = 2400 × 3

=> x² = 2400 × 3 / 2

=> x² = 1200 × 3

=> x² = 3600

=> x = √3600

=> x = √( 36 × 100 )

=> x = 6 × 10

=> x = 60 m

So length of rectangular room = 60 m
