Steps to apply page break in MS word (2010):

(you can use any version. I am using MS 2010)

1. Place the cursor or insertion pointer where you want the break to appear

2. Click on the page layout tab

3. Then click on Breaks drop-down button in the Page Setup group.

4. A drop-down menu appears. Select Page option in the Page Breaks section. The page will break and the text after the cursor will appear in the next page
