I think the same way as lunch and dinner got..

BTW.

• We don't eat anything at night.
• It means we had a fast whole night.
• In morning, we break it (the fast).

In this way it got the name BREAKFAST.

Answer:i think it is bcuz we sleep and then wake up so its break and bcuz we need to be energyfull thats why fast its written means fast to make u fast and energetic:)
