The camels are found in the desert region where the climate is always extreme.
The camel many systems to keep it body cool. There are two process which involves the respiration process in keeping the body of the camel cool.
- Camels have long nose with thick mucosa, which is used as screen during the air flow. When the camel breath, the wetness in the mucosa is dried and cools the veins and when the breath out, the dried mucosa get wet. Through this process the water is conserved and body remains cool.
- The camels use heat exchange system inside the body by exchanging the heat in the blood with the coolness received in the respiration process. This heat exchange cools the veins and capillaries leading to the eyes and brain of the camel.
