Breathing rate is defined as the rate at which breathing occurs and is measured in the breath(in) per minutes.
Explanation
- The normal breathing rate of a child is 20- 30 breath per minute.
- As the person is running, the breathing rate will increase. This is due to provide oxygen to the body at a higher rate.
- While running, the muscle of the body undergo lots of work, thus requiring more oxygen and producing more carbon dioxide to exhale. To meet the increase in the demand for the oxygen by the body, breathing rate increase.
- While running, the breathing rate will be around 40-50 breath per minute. After 10 minutes of stopping the breathing rate will return to normal.
