Cancer is the uncontrolled growth of abnormal cells in the body. Cancer develops when the body's normal control mechanism stops working. Old cells do not die and instead grow out of control, forming new, abnormal cells. These extra cells may form a mass of tissue, called a tumor.

cancer is characterised by an unrestrained growth and division of abnormal cells which if untreated and unchecked may kill the patient.

⚫CAUSE:-

- High energetic radiation

- Chewing of tobacco and betel nut

- Heavy smoking of cigarettes

- Oncogene and certain viruses also cause cancer.


⚫ TYPES OF CANCER'S

Cancer's can be divided into different types....

1) CARCINO : This type of cancer originates from skin or cells which lines the internal organs

2) SARCOMA : cancer occurs in mussels , cartilages, Bones,blood vessels and connective tissue.

3) LYMPHOMA : cancer of lymph glands and lymph nodes.

4) LEUKAEMIA : It occurs in blood forming organs specially the bone marrow.
