Nutrition:Nutrition is a science which interprets the interaction of nutrients in food in relation to health, disease, maintenance, reproduction and growth of an organism. It includes the intake of food, its absorption, assimilation, biosynthesis, catabolism as well as excretion.

Health:
It is the level of metabolic and functional efficiency of a living organism. It is the ability of a human being or community to adapt and self-manage when faced by some physical, social, psychological and mental change in the environment. According to the World Health Organization health is not merely the absence of disease or infirmity, it is a state of complete physical, mental and social well-being.

Nutritional status:
It is the condition of the body based on the nutrient content of the food consumed in relation to the nutritional needs, and the ability of the body to digest, absorb and use those nutrients.
