Brendon= 3y

Asha= 2y

Julie= 6y

according to 1st condition

total money received by Asha and Julie = 36$

i.e. 2y + 6y = 36

8y= 36

y = 36/8

therefore y = 4.5

Money received by Brendon = 3y = 3 x 4.5 = 13.5$
