He was born in Bihar. He was announced chairman in the constituent assembly. He was a lawyer and is well known for his role in the Champaran satyagraha. Rajendra Prasad became three times the president of Congress and later the first president of India.

She was born in Andhra Pradesh. She was a poet, writer and political activist and was among the foremost women leaders in the Congress. Later she became the Governor of Uttar Pradesh.
