Brief description on climate
Answers
Climate is referred to atmospheric conditions that are for very long time and wider geographical area. The weather and Climate are two very different concepts. The weather is a short term word used for describing atmospheric conditions and it is for very small area. Whereas, The climate is a term used for describing atmospheric conditions for longer periods and wide areas. Climate is not a average weather condition. It is record of frequencies of occurrence of various different activities.
Climate term is used for describing atmospheric conditions of wide geographical area. Hence, Climate is same for the all area which we have considered. Suppose, Climate of Maharashtra. The climate of Maharashtra is Normal. It receives proper rainfall and have average temperature between 20-40 degree Celsius. Now, This condition of Maharashtra is same from past 100 years and it will be same for future years. So, This long term condition of any place is referred to Climate.
The climate of a particular area or region is finalized/known with the help of following method:
The records of occurrence of various activities and phenomenon is collected by various analyzers. This collected data is analyzed by data scientists and experts and then this data is sent to computer. The computer interprets the data and creates a report of climate. In this way, The climate of particular region is known.
Meteorology and Climate:
The climate is a important term related to Meteorology. Lot of research is done everyday in Meteorological services in the field of Climate and weather. In meteorological departments, Various research on Rainfall, Temperature, Atmospheric pressure, Disasters forecasting, Weather forecasting are done.
Climate Change:
The climate change is never short term change and instant change. The change in climate is of very long duration and more effective. It takes thousands of years for climate change and this is very long process. The factors affecting climate change are generally Temperature, Humidity, Atmospheric pressure etc. Suppose, If the climate of country Iran changes, then this change in the climate would be same for future years.
The factors that affects the climate are as follows:
- Humidity
- Rainfall
- Temperature
- Solar radiation
- Precipitation
- Wind speed and direction
- Atmospheric pressure
