                              PLASTIC

Plastic, a material that is now deadly, has been an emulous entity to the environment. It is a substance that is non - biodegradable and is hence uneasy to get rid of. They are materials that are produced from natural resources, including natural gases such as oxygen and hydrogen. Since the 20th century, it has been hailed as a wonder to the world. But what about how much it has helped us in our mundane activities? It isn't really possible for us to proceed our day without it. It's designed to help us with our needs. It's comparatively inexpensive to produce, doesn't rust and helps in transportation causes. This indeed is a major reason for the inclination towards it. It can easily be moulded to various forms. It has revolutionized the way we live. It's versatile. It's used in almost all products, constituting a part of it and also in various machinery and innovations that help create betterment for the citizens. It's also used in the conservation of energy. A day without plastic would be implausible! It has become a necessity in our lives.

Although, the increasing issue right now is because of the consumption of this material. It can release poisonous gases, causing harm to an individual's life. Plastic pollution has been increasing rapidly, at a rate where fear of truncating it is a doubt.  Most of the plastic used each year ends up in landfills. They block the passage of drainage systems, causing various issues in cities. Plastic, when exposed to factors such as sunlight, alleviate to minute particles that get mixed up with the surrounding environment and is ultimately consumed by the organisms which in turn affect their lives. A lot of animals feed on food waste which includes a certain amount of plastic A heavy amount of this material is dumped in the ocean systems, affecting aquatic life. Plastics take a prolonged period for it to degrade. It is indeed a great task to dispose this material.

It's important for us to remember to keep an environment where the coming generations aren't affected. We can start taking adaptive measures to reduce the consumption of plastics. The first perceptible step is to spread awareness regarding the increasing issue of plastic pollution. Have a look at your surroundings. Ever realized how much of the plastic is in contact with the food or water we consume? Usage of alternative materials can be used such as jute. Leaders must have a passion to promote a healthy environment, one where there is no such environmental degradation. Plastic also includes crude oil in its making. Reducing the use of plastics help save crude oil. It is high time we consider taking initiatives to help fight this issue.

It is indeed a wonder to the world. Plastic, a material that was once and presumably considered a boon to the society, also has its negative effects on the environment.

                           IT'Z YOUR ANSWER

When plastic pollution e.g. bottles accumulate in the environment, they have very adverse effects on all types of living organisms. Plants, animals and especially humans are affected to a serious extent. Plastics are inexpensive and long-lasting, as a result so many manufacturers use it for the production of their items.Marine animals are affected by the chemicals of plastic or ingest these harmful plastic. Both these cases are very fatal and it makes the pool or water body dirty. Moreover humans are also affected by the hormones mechanism.90% seabirds bodies have plastic debris. It is shown by the recent studies. According to a study by 2050 there will be more plastic in the sea than fish.Plastic Pollution is a very serious issue and needs to be stopped. Other alternatives to plastic are paper bag. This is very environmental friendly and biodegradable. On the other hand plastic is a poison. We are unaware of it and our whole lives are spent by using it. Replace it and make your living good. Policies should be made to restrict its usage. Awareness campaigns should be made and walks should be organised for people and young generation. Everyone should take a step to control it.
