brief idea on separation of metarials

Separation of materials could be done by the following methods-
1.handpicking
Its the basic process of separation where we use our hands to pick out undesired materials.

2.seiving
As the name says it helps to remove leaves from tea through a drive

3. Winnowing
Here the object is kept on a high level.Due to the wind,lighter particles blow away while heavy ones remain with us.

4.Fractional Distillation
It helps us to remove waste layer by layer in a fractional column

PratyayDey: actually I want more about other separation methods like solid liquid separation, solid gas separation, liquid gas separation, etc.

harshjainn2003: For solid gas use sublimation where the solid gets converted to gas directly
