Presbyopia is a natural part of the aging process. It is due to hardening of the lens of the eye causing the eye to focus light behind rather than on the retina when looking at close objects. ... Treatment is typically with eye glasses. The eyeglasses used have higher focusing power in the lower portion of the lens.

★the power of accommodation of the eye usually decreases with ageing.

★this person can't see near objects clearly nor far objects clearly.

★it arises due to the gradual weakening of the ciliary muscles and diminishing flexibility of the eye lens.

★it can be corrected using bifocal lens.
