  • Windows is the most popularly used GUI Operating System. Another OS that is GUI enabled is MacOS.
  • Windows Operating System was developed and published by the Microsoft Corporation in 1983.Since then a number of upgraded versions of Windows have been introduced. Each of the Windows versions has some basic feature and some additional features that were not present in the earlier versions.
  • MacOS is the Operating System that was developed for Apple Macintosh computer, by Apple Inc. The MacOS works only on Apple desktops and laptops. Even Apple iPhones and iPads use a different OS, called as iOS.
