Coordination as a management role, is the process by which ,an organization harmonizes its organizational objective and the individual or employees' interest.
This it does by three main aspects:
- Integration
-Timing, and
-Balancing

Integration involves bringing in all the interest of the individuals in the organization and blending them so that channeled into achieving the organizational goals.

Timing involves organizing activities of an organization that they do not clash, ensuring that objectives are met in a timely manner.

Balancing involves ensuring organizational activities receive optimum resource and effort so that the objectives are met.

- Through coordination, the organization sees to it that the employees are remunerated, fairly, for the effort they put into the organization activities. This ensures that at the end of the day both the employees achieve their objectives, that is, the employees are remunerated and the organization have their objectives met.

All human beings have personal goals, which is dynamic depending on the place and time. But, the organisations in which they work have clearly defined goals, which are drawn up at the discretion of its decision makers.
Proper communication and coordination helps in resolving most conflicts in organisations. This then helps in making the organisation function as efficiently as possible under the given circumstances as it benefits from collective functioning of its employees.
