Take a bowl/beaker half filled with water, place a lemon in the beaker of water. Keep it undistributed for few minutes in a place where there is enough light. Now, observe the immersed lemon from the top of the bowl/beaker. It is noticed that it is visible clearly from the top. Hence, this proves that water is transparent.
