It comes to high at daytime whereas at night it slighly comes down to a very low temperature. there is lack of rain. the annual rainfall is about only 50mm or near to it. tbere is a dry climate hence plants are having well defined spines in place of leaves to minimize water lost during transpiration ( cactus ).
There are animals such as great indian bustard, and some sorts of unique rats are even found.
Due to leass rainfall there is acute shortage of water.
There are winters but they dont affect much to the temperature.
The slight change of temperature from intense hot at daytime to intense cold during night is due to presence of sand.

Hot desert climates (BWh) are typically found under the subtropical ridge in the lower middle latitudes, often between 20° and 33° north and south latitude. In these locations, stable descending air and high pressure aloft create hot, arid, conditions with intense sunshine. Hot desert climates are generally hot, sunny and dry year-round. They are found across vast areas of North Africa, the Middle East, northwestern parts of the Indian Subcontinent, interior Australia, and smaller areas of the Southwestern United States, and Chile. This makes hot deserts present in every continent except Europe and Antarctica.
