For the unity of country Swami Dayanand focused on caste system opposition, religious reforms, educational etc.
- Swami JI established the Arya Samaj, which brought about improvements in Indians' religious understanding.
- He was against idolatry and man-made orders that the Vedas should not be read by women. He raised his voice against ritualistic worship rituals and dismissed the concepts of Indian mythology as well.
- By introducing Anglo-Vedic schools to give Indian students a revised curriculum teaching both Vedas knowledge and modern English education, he also changed the education system.
- Untouchability was criticised by Dayanand and branded as barbaric and unsocial. He quoted the Vedas in which the practise of untouchability was not present at all.
