briefly explain about venus flytrap

sabrina789: Like other plants, Venus' Flytraps gather nutrients from gases in the air and nutrients in the soil. However, they live in poor soil and are healthier if they get nutrients from insects. Carnivorous plants live all over the world but the Venus Flytrap is native to select boggy areas in North and South Carolina. #hope this will help.

it is a plant which have mouth like structure on top of stem. if any insect came in contact with its mouth and goes inside its mouth ,it rapidly close it's mouth . the digestive juices inside its body are injected into the insects body and the body parts are easy to digest. Venus flytrap is an example of insectivores plants which feed on small insects.
