Urine is formed in the kidneys through a filtration of blood. The urine is then passed through the ureters to the bladder, where it is stored. During urination, the urine is passed from the bladder through the urethra to the outside of the body.

Answer:
The production of urine and its elimination occurs in the excretory system of the body.
Explanation:
Structures called nephrons are involved in the production of urine.
The tubule called proximal convoluted tubule absorbs water and wastes that flow in blood when passes in the kidney.
The distal convoluted tubule re filters the water and waste and absorbs excess water and allows a little amount of water and kidney fluid containing wastes like urea to pass to collecting tubule.
This fluid containing wastes is urine.
This urine from collecting tubule passes to urinary bladder for micturition through urethra.
