Nutrient requirement for the human body shows a wide variation from the above factors.

A.) Activity level: The amount of energy used by a person is his activity level.more the person spends his energy in workout and various other physical or mental activity, more is the requirement for nutrition.you might have observed gym trainers and body builder take up a lot of protein rich food in their diet.

B.) Body size/Composition: Well this factor has little effect, but still noticable.More the body mass of the beign more is the requirement for nutrition, since there are more metabolism and more cells to take care of, this factor is counter acted if the person does lesser amount of physical work.

C.) Age: From childhood to adulthood the metabolism of the body increases, there is increased production of hormones hence there is a demand for more nutrition, but as the person moves from adulthood to old age, consequent drop in body metabolism is seen.Hence old aged person requires less nutrition as compared to adults.
