Briefly explain me about tuberculosis , its prevention , symptoms and its causes and also draw the structure of mycobacterium bacteria.

Tuberculosis; -

It is also called as TB.

It is potentially a serious infections diseases that mainly affect the lungs.

Bacteria that cause tuberculosis spreads one person to another person

Symptoms: -

coughing for three or more weeks,coughing up blood or mucus, chest pain unintentional weighloss

Causes: -

It is caused by the bacteria that spread from person to person through microscopic droplets released in air.

when we should consult a doctor

  • You should consult a doctor when u have fever , unexplained weight loss etc
  • Also one thing you should see your doctor if u think u have been exposed to TB

Prevention method ;-

  • Take a medicines as doctor prescribed.
  • Keeping all the doctors appointment
  • Always cover mouth with tissue when u cough .
  • washing the hands when sneezing or coughing.

Answer :-

Tuberculosis is a disease caused by the bacterium  Mycobacterium tuberculosis. It is one of the most common infections of the world. It's symptoms will only show when the infection becomes active, which may take several weeks.

This bacteria attacks the lungs of a person but it can be more dangerous and can attack any part of the body like the kidneys, brain and spin.

Causes :-

There are a number of reasons which may lead to Tuberculosis. Some of them are as follows :-

  • If the person is Malnutrition.
  • Sharing your utensils with a TB Patient.
  • If the person is addicted to alcohol, tobacco smoke etc.
  • Air pollution can also cause Tuberculosis.
  • Sometimes Diabetes can also lead to Tuberculosis.

Symptoms :-

  • Coughing for more than 3 weeks.
  • Chest pain or pain in breathing or in coughing.
  • Unintentional weight loss.
  • High fever.
  • Sweating in night.
  • Coughing up blood or mucus.

Prevention :-

  • Take all your prescription on time as consulted by the doctor.
  • Avoid Alcohol and liquors.
  • Avoid junk and unhealthy food.
  • Patients should cover their nose and mouth while coughing or sneezing.
