Hey there!!
=>> Molecular orbital theory was introduced in order to explain the magnetic properties of compounds.
It includes mixing of atomic orbital to form molecular orbitals there are two type of molecular orbital
1. Bonding molecular orbital
2. Antibonding molecular orbital Bonding molecular orbital is formed by constructive interference of the atomic orbitals, it has high stability and low energy.
Antibonding molecular orbital is formed by the destructive interference of the atomic orbital, it has high energy and low stability.
Hope it Helped!!!☺️
