There are many different types of contraception, but not all types are appropriate for all situations. The most appropriate method of birth control depends on an individual's overall health, age, frequency of sexual activity, number of sexual partners, desire to have children in the future, and family history of certain diseases.

Hello friend!!
Rajdeep here...

The surgical method for sterilization in males is called as Vasectomy, in which the two vasa deferentia or the sperm ducts are cut and the ends are ligated, so that the sperms from the testes cannot reach the ejaculatory duct.

The surgical method fir sterilization in females is called as Tubectomy, in which the two ends of the fallopian tube or oviduct are cut and ligated, so that the ovum is not Passed to the fallopian tube and fertilisation does not take place.

Among both the methods, Vasectomy is safer and it is recommended that within the couple, the male gets operated.

Thanks!!
