Briefly explain the character sketch of franz in the last lesson

Franz was an observant and a sensible student who realized his mistake. Though he never tried enough but at last his regret shows us that he was sensible enough to decide what wrong he did to himself as well as his national language. It depicts human nature as well , we never care for the things or facilities which are easily accessible to us . so was the habit of Franz too which made him regret later.
