Briefly explain the digestion process occurring in small intestine

After food passes through or stomach and gets digested,it goes to the small intestine where there are small finger like projections called villi.Villi increases the surface are of the small intestine and slows down the movement of food.So,the nutrients are easily absorbed and then it goes to the large intestine.
