introduction of laws- here a bill is introduced in which a particular law is proposed.can be classified as :

money bills: related to tax provisions and regulations

ordinary bills: consists proposals for ordinary legislations.

constitutional amendments bill: bils which deal with changing of constitution

The main functions of Parliament are as follows:-
1. Legislative power - All the subjects in our Constitution are divided among the states, union and concurrent lists.

2. Executive powers - According to parliamentary form of government Executive responsible to the parliament for its act and policies.

3. Financial powers - It includes the enactment of the budget , the performance of the government with respect of financial spending through financial committees.

4. Constituents powers - To amend the Constitution , to pass any law required.

5. Judicial powers - It has powers to impeach the President, The Vice president , the judges of the Supreme court and High court.
