Ohm's lawstates that thecurrentthrough a conductor between two points is directlyproportionalto thepotential differenceacross the two points. Introducing the constant of proportionality, theresistance,one arrives at the usual mathematical equation that describes this relationship:

V is directly proportional to R

V=IR
Where V = potential difference
I = current flowing through
conductor
R = resistance

it state that at constant temperature , the current flowing through a conductor of uniform area of cross section is directly proportional to the difference of potential across the two ends of the counduction.
Let V=potential difference across the two ends of conductor

and i=current flowing the conductor

According to ohms law
i is proposonal to v
v/i=constant
