hey here's your answer
Earthing is a process of protecting buildings from an electric circuit during thunderstorm or lightning. This process is done by connecting a pole slightly longer than the structure of the building with a sharp point at the top. The bottom of the pole is inserted into the ground or earth. When lightning strikes the point of the pole, the electricity is passed to the earth. As soon as the current reaches the earth, the earth neutralises it.
