Natural selection is phenomena in which the best and the fittest is selected.
Genetic drift is a process in which the change in the types of gene occurs
By the help of both phenomena the new generation is created. For example, there were giraffes with small necks, these giraffes could not reach the top leaves of the trees and thus got extinct while the best type with long neck survived and moved forward to next generation.

natural selection:according to natural selection the best one is selected by nature that is survival of fittest.so the disadvantaged ones get eliminated from nature gets less in no. this will result in growth of a particular variety which will result in speciation.
eg:when by variation green beetle was made due its advantage green beetle survived than red beeetle as it was not easily seen by crows.or bacteria resistant to temperature could only survive when the temperature of the niche increased.
genetic drift:genetic drift caused by drastic changes in gene frequencies of particular gene causes reproductive isolation which leads to speciation.
hope this helps you
