Briefly explain the three main causes of food spoilage. What measures would you adopt to minimize or avoid food spoilage?

when it comes in contact of sunlight,air etc food starts spoiling.
by food preservative like nitrozen ,nacl, antioxidant chemicals do not left the food opened

Three main causes of food spoilage are:-

  • Insects are the most important cause for a food to get spoiled .
  • Temperature is another important factor which result in the spoilage of food.

To minimize or avoid food spoilage we must do the following steps:-

  • We must keep food in refrigerator because germs do not grow in  cold places
  • Boiling is another way of killing germs.Germs in milk are killed through this process.
  • Adding salt to fish also helps in preservation.
