1] EAST INDIA ASSOCIATION- dadabhai naoroji founded east india association in london on october 1, 1866.the aim of the organisation was the promotion of public interest and welfare of the inhabitants of india. the organisation had a large indian membership drawn from different parts of indian subcontinent.

2] POONA SARVAJANIK SABHA - on april 2, 1870 the poona sarvajanik sabha was established by justice ranade , to represent the wishes of the people . most of members of sabha were brahmins and hindus but included other castes , parsis , muslims and christians.

3] INDIAN ASSOCIATION OF CALCUTTA- it  was founded by surendranath banerjee and his associate ananda mohan bose in 1876. it was the most pre congress organisation with a national character.
