The education of the Liliput children was not the responsibility of thier parents but rather it was the responsibility of the kingdom.
The children were sent away to live at school chosen according to their parent's station and finances when they were very young.They have big public nurseries for both boys and girls which teach the kids the skills that they will need in their life.
They used to get a high quality education and consequently became very expert in mathematical mechanics.
Rich children used to live in those nurseries till they were 15 but middle class children used to leave them at the age of about 11 yrs.But poor children like those of farmers and laborers remained at home only.
The writing style of liliputians was a bit odd as they used to write diagonally across the page.
