Answer:

Describe how Matilda brought "an awful life of need" into her family in a few words. Matilda set herself up for a difficult existence by not living up to her potential and longing for things that were beyond her reach.

Explanation:

"The Necklace,"

In the story "The Necklace," Matilda is the wife of a board of education clerk. We learn at the outset of the lesson that Matilda saw herself as a misfortune of fate and that she lacked a dowry, hopes, and resources. Given that she always sobbed after seeing her wealthy buddy, she was obviously very unhappy with her existence. She is upset when she receives an invitation to a party planned at the minister's home one day.

she doesn't have any appropriate clothing, therefore she had to live in poverty for the next 10 years just to enjoy a few hours of amusement at the party. This situation was caused by her self-indulgence. Her spouse also suffered from poverty as a result of her.

She borrowed a necklace from her wealthy friend, Mme. Forestier, but it turned out to be a fake one. After the party, she realized she had lost the necklace and spent the following ten years in poverty paying back the money she had borrowed for a new necklace that she had mistakenly believed to be a real one. she had to work for the following ten years. In light of this, we might say that Matilda had invited "a horrific life of need" into her household for a little while of delight.
