mauryan empire was first started by chandragupta maurya and then  he started mauryan dynasty(a family whose memebers become the ruler one after the other)cahndragupta's son bindusara and his grand son ashoka ruled the mauryan empire soon after the mauryan empire satavahana kingdom started
