Amoeba has holozoic mode of nutrition. Iit takes in food using temporary finger-like projections called pseudopodia. The pseudopodia encircle the food particle which creates  a food vacuole. The amoeba releases digestive enzymes into the food vacuole and the nutrients are dissolved into the organism.
