plant cell is surrounded by cell membrane within the cell wall but animal cell is only surrounded by cell membrane. cell wall is absent in animal cell. plastids are present in plant cell but absent in animal cell. both animal and plant cell are composed of various cell organelles such as mitochondria , endoplasmic reticulum, golgi apparatus , ribosomes , lysosomes and etc. in plant cell large sized vacuole is present in centre but in animal cell vacuoles are small and are not present in centre .  in animal cell nucleus is present in centre but in plant cell nucleus is shifted sidewards due to centre vacuole. animal cell do not have fixed shape but plant cell have fixed shape.

1. cell wall is present in plant cell ,but not in animal cells

2. Plastids are present in plant cell not in animal cell..

3. Golgi apparatus is present in animal cell, but in plant cell only the unit of Golgi apparatus which is called as dictyosomes is present..
